Bismark Bar Environment

Blueprint Events approached us to see if we could build some custom furniture for a rebrand and renovation project. The scope of the project grew as Blueprint realized we could help them with much more than just furniture. Tasked with a feature wall that would wrap the curved back wall and enhance the space, we were able offer an economic solution without sacrificing the visual impact of their concept

Minimal Design, Maximum Functionality
The furniture we designed was simple, durable and maximized usability in the small room. We used top-quality materials like solid maple and mild steel. Our designs focused on economic fabrication techniques, which allowed us to work within budget and to complete the project on schedule.

Feature Wall

The lit feature wall is what sets Bismarck apart in its busy neighbourhood. To start with, Blueprint sent us imagery that we printed onto translucent vinyl. The vinyl was then adhered to acrylic and framed with laser-cut wooden frames that housed the LED lights. We custom-designed a hanging registration system that allowed us flexibility as we installed the frames. The last bit was wiring and setting up the lighting system. In the end, we’ve had a hand in many of the finishing elements, right down to the laser-engraved table talkers.
